In the spirit of American Monument’s invitation to witness, this experimental and collaborative writing session seeks to activate these impulses and build voices for resisting, healing and care. What happens when we place ourselves as witnesses within this exhibitionary and legal apparatus? What responses can we generate as a means to honor and remember wasted lives? How do we imagine better collective and inclusive futures?
